To say Josh is an excellent trainer would be the understatement of the year. Coming off of a major injury (Hamstring tear), I was certain I'd never be the same athlete I was in college, all before the age of 25. Little did I know, I wouldn't be the same athlete not because I was worse off after the injury, but because I was better. The single biggest reason for that is training with Josh. He gave me a functional movement screen in our first session, identified where my poor bio-mechanics originated, and after a few additional sessions, crafted a program specifically for me, designed to build strength and flexibility back not only in my hamstring, but the rest of my body as well. Training with Josh has changed my views on fitness as well, showing me the value of applied and functional strength, as well as joint and ligament conditioning and range flexibility.
Josh has a good eye for correcting biomechanics and teaching movements both simple and complex, from kettlebells to Olympic lifting and everything in between. Sessions with him are always challenging, always informative, and always fun. Fitness, as the best trainers say, is a journey, not a destination, and there is not a better guide for your journey than Josh.
